The Friends Reach A Deal!

The stars of our favourite TV show Friends are to return for 2 more seasons. Just days before NBC would announce thier fall line-up, the cast and the producers reached a deal. Each cast member will each receive approximately $750,000 US per episode. NBC was quite prepared to make a line-up not including Friends but no worries about that now. Friends is the highest rating comedy on the air now and behind ER, NBC's best show. There was no "cliffhangar" season finale this year just in case Friends wouldn't return.

Lisa Wins Another Award!

Lisa Kudrow picked up another award to add to her collection on May 9th. Lisa won a Blockbuster Movie Award for her role in the highly successful Analyze This. Courteney's husband David also won an award for Never Been Kissed, where he plays Drew Barrymore's brother. The show will be aired on June 20th at 8:00p.m. EST on FOX.

Metal Gods (Jennifer Aniston)
Jennifer stars opposite Mark Wahlberg in a tale of the headbanger music scene.

Scream 3 (Courteney Cox Arquette)
My Review -> 10/10 - This was a great flick! It was a good was to end the trilogy. The characters (especially Neve's) finally find peace. I found this part quite funny and orignal. It is not as good as Scream, but close. It is better than the somewhat dull Scream 2. Some good scares too, and a great ending!

Scream 3 is now playing in theatres all over the place. In it's opening weekend it made $35.2 million and broke the record for February openings. I saw it and it is really good. In the movie are David Arquette, Courteney Cox Arquette, Neve Campbell, Parker Posey, Emily Mortimer, Patrick Dempsey, Deon Richmond, Lance Henrickson, Matthew Keeslar and Scott Foley. It has many surprising twists and turns. This one is really funny...more so than the others. It's great! The best new character is definately Parker Posey's Jennifer Jolie. Her scenes with Courteney's Gale Weathers rock! The movie will be on video in the summer

The Whole Nine Yards (Matthew Perry)
My Review -> 7/10 - Matt Perry was funny as usual but he was too much like Chandler. Try some new roles! Stretch those acting muscles! It had good laughs. Bruce Willis, Rosanna Arquette and Kevin Pollack give solid performances.

Matthew Perry's new movie with Bruce Willis, rolls into theatres on February 18th. Willis plays a hitman who moves into the suburbs under cover of the Witness Protection Program. Perry plays his dentist neighbour. The movie also stars Rosanna Arquette, Michael Clarke Duncan, Natasha Henstridge, Amanda Peet and Kevin Pollack.

Hanging Up (Lisa Kudrow)
My Review -> 8/10 - Great acting all around (especially Meg Ryan) and a good solid script. This one is a must see!

This movie, directed by Diane Keaton is about 3 sisters who reunite after learning their father is ill in the hospital. It also stars Keaton, Lisa Kudrow, Meg Ryan and Walter Mathau.

Charlie's Angels (Matt LeBlanc)
TV Guide Canada recently reported that Matt LeBlanc will star alongside Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu in the upcoming film version of Charlie's Angels. He will play Lucy's love interest. The film will open in late 2000.
3000 Miles to Graceland (Courteney Cox Arquette)
Courteney Cox Arquette is currently in negotiations to star with Kevin Costner and Kurt Russell in 3000 Miles To Graceland (by Franchise Studios). "Graceland" is about a Las Vegas heist and follows a gang of ex-cons with Costner playing the group's villain and Russell their hero. Courteney will play Russell's romantic interest. The movie is slated to begin production next month in Vancouver.

Three To Tango (Matthew Perry)
My Review -> 5/10 - Not Matt's best work. There are a few laughs but the script is all over the place. Hopefully the stars will redeem them selves with upcoming flicks.

Starring Neve Campbell, Matthew Perry, Dylan McDermott and Oliver Platt.
